Online registration sheet?

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is committed to an ongoing effort to create an easy and efficient system for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) to increase their business with ALDOT.  As a result of our effort a new tool has been designed to allow DBEs to create a profile which will be posted on ALDOT’s BID EXPRESS.

Advantages of Registration?

A simple, paperless form, posted at www.alabiz.org, will allow you to enter your information into an electronic database.  They will make your business visible to potential prime contractors, who will use this web site to search the database of certified DBEs for suitable subcontractors (by location, job scope, and etc.)  They will be able to research them.

Accessing this web site and filling out a profile sheet will enter your information into a database. Your completed profile sheet will then be posted on ALDOT’s BID EXPRESS, where it will be available for viewing to prime contractors. This can be done in a hassle-free way from the comfort of your own office. Including your company in BID EXPRESS is a user friendly, cost-free way to market your company and make your more business visible.

Security features?

Your data is protected through a login process. As a DBE , can create your own login name and a password.. Through a secured login process, you can access and update your profile information as needed. The information, although available for viewing to all of ALDOT’s prime contractors, can only be changed by you.
